First off on the not doin a promo track ABOUT FUCKING TIME, seriously my dude, i been waitin for a serious track from you for ages. This is some dope ass shit. Flow's incredible as usual, some real shit right here. Lyrics on point throughout actually, nice and deep without going emo with it, leads great into the hook on every transition. Prolly my second fave track of yours ever, after "Life is Precious" which still stands in my mind as one of (if not THE) best tracks to come out of the frs period. Stay up bro...

cheers good looks dobb appreciate the feed bro
here be the lix too yoooo
this is me, give a fuck if you like what you see,
nothin hidin beneath, what you eyein is me,
no lyin 'cos see i don't make it a secret,
i am what i am you can take it or leave it,
... we can hate we can be friends,
books 'n their covers don't relate to their meanin's,
that's truth no use in talkin pretend,
gon' lose 'cos you gettin caught in the end,
chyo, i wont ask your forgiveness,
loves hard - both put our hearts in the business,
i'ma bastard, admitted but yet ya aint see?
don't think for a sec ya can change me,
no regret's if i use the truth,
shit, if i can accept it then you can too,
ya gotta keep it modest 'cos the honesty counts,
'n whether like it or not yo there's gonna be doubts,
yo i find it hard to get the heart to speak up,
can say i'm not perfect but you aren't either,
i basically see it as take it or leave it,
if you can't accept that you aint gonna keep it...
i got nothin to prove, yo i'm livin' free now,
got nothin to lose 'cos this shit's for me now,
i can breathe now i tore through the status scene,
was a balance beam to conform to ya magazines,
ya'll can have it back i done had it,
i'm just an avarage man with rough baggage,
listen, i know ya thinkin it's lonely,
but till i got a cash flow ya didn't wanna know me,
so cheap you a phoney 'n i'm tired ya'll,
sick of bein that guy you relied upon,
livin underfire 'n the might of a giants palm,
sidelined 'til the time i be required for,
uh, no thankyou's or gratitude,
no, i aint goin back through that attitude,
no more favours 'n no more saviour,
got a path of my own yo 'n i'm gon' pave it,
brave it.. where i'm headin i can get alone,
'n i'm gettin close yo i'll never be a steppin stone,
i basically see it as take it or leave it,
if you can't accept that you aint gonna keep it...

"livin underfire 'n the might of a giants palm,
sidelined 'til the time i be required for,"
sounded so gfucking dope mode haha
your flow is on, your lyrics make sense and relate to a situation, and your delivery is raw.
as far as the production goes I see no mistakes in it.
badass shit son

Of course I expect quality like this from Mode...I knew you waaay back on the Flow and LG...man back in the day haha. The song is dope man, the lyrics make the song but the beat rides well too. Good meanings, good word usage, generally good song man.

Could've sworn I already dropped feed on this but I guess not
Definitely feelin this track, kept that usual Mode esque barrage of multis without sacrificing the message. Flow and lyrics were on point and the beat definitely went hand in hand with the track's message. Good to hear somethin other than self promo haha Should definitely do more tracks like these
You have nothing interesting to say so you write about yourself
