jonnyz.. i gotta say.. its a good start.. but truthfully, i heard it once.. and i really didnt care to hear it again. i like what your going after, but eq your main sample to make it less annoying. believe me.. i got 2 of my homies over here and they agree... try to like angel said, boost some power into it. sounds like your using fruityloops, cuz of the bass you used.

i know i sound like a complete asshole, but you asked for critic, and you got it from the westside.

KEEP AT THAT BEAT THOUGH. dont stop until you know you have it.

try turning up your drum pattern. listen to your status diss beat. hear how the drum works with the sample eq-wise (the sample there is less busy, though, so bad example, buutttt...).

this is aight... but i dont really like the drums on this one... sounds too hollow.... i think sumthin harder would make it sound better and compliment the bassline more.... you could turn up the bassline a lil too... the melody sounds real smooth though... i'm feelin that.... i know you prolly won't change it but i think you should use a different drumkit... a harder set of drums would sound nice imo.... but keep doing ya thing...
