Yo I may be going to Hong Kong in July or August. Just wanna know what the b-boy scene looks like in Hong Kong, if there is any. I'll be there for several days and I don't wanna spend that time not doing any breaking whatsoever.

what's it like over there? is it pretty tolerant to breakers? are there good spots to session?

haha, i'm actually running into the same problem. I've lived here for abut 6 years but I've been away at uni and it was only recently i started coming back with a bboy mentality. Hong kong itself is pretty badass, there's always something to do. as far as breakers, they've hosted a lot of events here and they even had an exhibition in the mall a while back dedicated to a local crew from hk (i think it's called street rocker crew, but not too sure)

As for places, thats not really a problem. There's anything from dance studios to parks to even the subway, it's just a matter of finding people to break with which has kinda been my problem thus far

heh im gonna be in hong kong from the 7-22 of july (exception of 11-18 , tour in china) would deffeitnly love to find out about any events/ or practices that go down that i can come join in on. still fairly new and not practicing for 2 weeks sounds crazy to me. so ive been just hoping i can find some good spots in HK to break and hopefully cool bboys/bgirls to break with.

ok here's my schedule: i'll be traveling (so the front and back end are probably me stuck in a plane) from the 17 - 26... somewhere in there there are HUGE family plans, so other than that, I may try to drag my cousin to take me 'round to wherever (we'd be hanging out anyway) and maybe he'd know locations I'd try to get to... so yeah.

is it easy to find bboys breaking around HK? I heard "go to central in the evening and that's where stuff happens" as a general statement.
