hmm in my first school performance i got seniors who'd been bboying for years to train me. how do u guys prepare? i'm curious. u need help with choreo?

Well you wanna hear my story?

I started breaking last year at July because i got amazed by a crew named NCB in my school. They were the only active breakdance crew in my school other than the official school dance club and surprisingly they were friendly and took me in. I learnt my moves via the seniors in NCB. I had never seen the leader in sessions before but he welcomed me to NCB via Friendster.

But then on last December he said i am an embarrassment to the crew and wanted me to get out of the crew via the announcement in the crew's blog. I didn't even did anything wrong but he accused me of all the shit. So whatever i got fed up and left the crew.

Luckily i had my good mates who supported me and even took up breakdancing because of me and thus we formed a crew. And we are having our first performance this July.

Well i think i need some help with creativity.. running out of fresh ideas currently. I guess i shall use this June Holidays wisely to practice and brainstorm..

Well where do you guys practice other than Esplanade? My home is too crowded for me to break it down..

to ernie: how many times do i have to tell you: if you can even do a six step to a baby freeze, just go down. cyphers are for FUN. their not battles D:<

BboyLone: i can relate... sorta. my school dance team turned from bboying to classical dance and i hated it, so i quit and started an all hip hop dance club. anyway, for creativity wise, i can help a bit. but i point you to this video to be inspired for creativity. they are by far the best bboy illusionists i've seen. and really, what they do is feasible for singaporean teens. i've pulled off this (albeit much, much more simple, but same concept) myself. -->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqBr_LHNQQI

Thanks Maniac. Haha yeah i agree Expression Crew is the best bboy iillusionists. I would get my inspiration there.

Well yeah breakdancing again, is to express and not impress. Bboy for the love of breaking and so don't mind what others think. Knowing Baby Freeze, Six Step and enjoying yourself is enough.

on the way to esplanade. just follow all the way from city hall mrt station, and u'll see it. its a wide underground space. you haven't been there b4?
