Country size and origin of the dance have no influence on the dance whatsoever, other than explaining population density and the history of the dance. In Korea, b-boying is a commercial industry. Some of the students there skip school so that they can practice 5+ hours a day, hence their rapid influence on the b-boying community. In the USA, b-boying isn't as commercial as it is in Korea because it had reached its peak before. Also, b-boying here was seen more as a gangster activity (a reason for its past decline) whereas b-boying in Korea is a profitable industry.

Unless the USA can overall surpass the Koreans in commitment (some US crews obviously do, Koreans just have more crews overall), the b-boy stereotype can be ridded. Otherwise, on average, seems like Koreans are still on top.

This is true.

btw, 1000th post woot.
