| I'm an aspiring funk dancer and bgirl. Other things I am: bellydancer,
novelist, unassisted birther, lover of MAC makeup and synthetic hair,
attachment parent, and general badass. In short, I'm the mother that
all the other mothers at the playground stare at. ;) I'm actually
pretty mellow though. It takes a lot these days to rattle me. (I
wasn't always this chill, but being responsible for someone else's
life tends to show you what's really important and what isn't.)
My username is a reference to the fact that I'm about as pale as
someone can be without being albino. My mate frequently teases me
about my "fishbelly" coloring so when I was trying to think up a
nickname that came to mind. Now I find that one of my goals is to get
good enough to perform publicly, in part because I really want to hear
an announcer say that name. ;)
I love all different kinds of music although Maynard James Keenan
will always be my #1. I love to read, listen to music (my iPod may as
well be surgically attached to me), hang out with my friends, write,
spend time with my family, go do wacky things and then blog about
them, and sleep. (I know that's not usually something people list as
an interest, but with two kids, I don't get nearly enough sleep.)
These days I can often be found practicing toprocking or various
locking steps while cooking dinner or doing other things where I have
a few minutes free. While watching TV I'll often be hanging out in
crab position or doing push-ups to work on my arms. My life's busy, I
have to fit practice in whenever I can. :)
