There isnt much difference in the dance its just a sign or respect to the older BBoys from the generation of Years 70s and 80s it may at time mean just the form of footwork flavor and many older Bboys have all the moves for example I have top, footwork and spins - hand glide, backspin, windmills, trax, floats swipes, headspins. A Bboy should have all the basics and specialize in one or master one to the fullest ok i hope this answers your question. Peace
